Planning a luncheon for 80 ladies is an easy feat when working with the catering staff at the Women’s University Club in Seattle. From the champagne cocktail hour in the drawing room, to the trio-salad in the banquet hall; the catering staff was at the ready with a selection of linens & custom floral center pieces to choose from. A task I would easily try to accomplish again there in the beautiful interiors of the historic WUC.

"There’s so much more to say about what else has been going on from our time in Seattle celebrating our good friend Heather Baker’s Bday, to the song I did with Thrill Da Playa called “El Shaddai,” to watching The Avengers, and more that I’d have you here for a while if I shared everything with you. (Smile). Please make sure you’re keeping up with the moves that God continues to put before us to do on Facebook and Twitter." Eddy Puyol Heather Baker served as floral design liaison for a garden party luncheon, which helped raise support for Seattle Arts.

Through Heather Baker I had been invited to participate in the 15th Annual Gilda’s Club “Surviving with Style” fashion show to dress breast cancer survivor Robin Romeo. After discussing this opportunity among team WRAPHABILEMENT we agreed and sunk our teeth into coming up with a vision for our survivor. Both Robin and I being native New Yorkers and having deep roots working in city government there we hit it off splendidly. I had an idea for Robin – I imagined this fiery red-head to be a bit of a super hero. So, with my lead pattern maker Tracy in charge we Robinized one of our Holiday/Pre-Spring offerings for Robin – La Cape. But more on that later… Heather has been a longtime supporter of the Seattle Art Museum, serving on the SAMS committee for several years. This year she was happy to step into an executive committee roll. See what The SCENE had to say about Heather at last year's Nordstrom Designer Preview, benefiting the Seattle Art Museum. Beautiful and stylish - these 5 have it all....
I am truly pleased to know that one of our nations premier art collectors is back residing in Seattle for a bit; playing as most gracious host, to some our city's art lovers. What a treat to get to experience the passionate love & to see the worlds favorite artist art work close with history attached. Pieces by any of these will add depth and stability to any interior. For inspiration check out the colorful art book; Picasso to pop the Richard Weisman collection, a masterpiece in its own!
