Through Heather Baker I had been invited to participate in the 15th Annual Gilda’s Club “Surviving with Style” fashion show to dress breast cancer survivor Robin Romeo.
After discussing this opportunity among team WRAPHABILEMENT we agreed and sunk our teeth into coming up with a vision for our survivor.
Both Robin and I being native New Yorkers and having deep roots working in city government there we hit it off splendidly. I had an idea for Robin – I imagined this fiery red-head to be a bit of a super hero. So, with my lead pattern maker Tracy in charge we Robinized one of our Holiday/Pre-Spring offerings for Robin – La Cape. But more on that later…
