Enjoying the Seattle Symphony means a feast for the arts. As the new season rings in with this years annual Gala I am excited to see the fresh new ways to enjoy sound & sight; taking in interiors of floor to ceiling windows with views of architecture and our own Seattle treasure, Mr. Dale Chihulys amazing chandelier installation.

The history of this magnificent, Seattle members only club is its main allure, with its iconic architecture and elegant interiors. 

The food and staff live up to its elegance year 'round, but my favorite time is when the holiday decor goes up in the fall. It is always grand in inspiration!

As the summer approaches, I am reminded of the San Juan islands in the Pacific Northwest. Now is the time I enjoy staying with the Hotel Del Haro. The history of this hotel is enchanting and the restaurant is a "must dine". The hotel offers off-site stays in the local area if the "charm" escapes you. 

The Semi ah moo resort is a Northwest favorite with its casual, beach-inspired interiors. I have enjoyed this seaside hotel for over 20 years as a guest of the hotel & as guest of a special event. It is predictably relaxing and as the summer approches it is the best time to enjoy. Annually, I volunteer my time as a jr. golf mentor for the fun & educational youth golf program that makes this community extra rewarding.

The Willows Lodge is a perfect setting for the acoustic sound of friend, former sea-hawk player, and local music artist Craig Terrill. The warmth of the venues contemporary northwest design complements the Woodinville wine country and the sound of earthy Craig Terrill music. check out one of his shows with a glass of local wine.

While staying at the W Hotel in Dallas, I was pleased with the contemporary, predictably of the interiors that one could expect from this youthful, forward- thinking hotel line. Seeing friend Charlie Whitehurst throw the football at the Dallas stadium on the field & on the much controversially celebrated Jumbo-Tron was just as fun as rumor had. Everything really is bigger in Texas

How great for north-westerners  to have one of the nations premier, nineteenth century, art-giants here in our own intimate Pacific Northwest Whidbey Island. Specializing in rare botany & horticulture prints including the great artist James Audubon. Incorporating Audubon with interior design, in combination with volunteer teaching efforts about his works in history for a local student art program; makes him a personal favorite. I cherish the  art purchased from Priscilla's shoppe over a decade ago and will continue to over the next!
