Chihuly Garden and Glass exhibition opened May 18, 2012. It provides a look at the inspiration and influences that inform the career of artist Dale Chihuly. Located at Seattle Center, Chihuly Garden and Glass includes an Exhibition Hall, the centerpiece Glasshouse and a lush Garden. The Exhibition Hall contains eight galleries and three Drawing Walls, offering visitors a comprehensive look at Chihuly’s significant series of work; the Glasshouse presents a suspended 1,400-piece, 100-foot-long sculpture; and the Garden is a backdrop for four monumental sculptures and other installations.

When visiting dear friend and Chicago Bear lineman, Chris Spencer & family this fall, I booked at the Chicago Marriott. I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel on the magnificent mile as I had booked with Marriott reward system. The hotel had a creative spin on the public spaces making room for intimate conversation, as well as space for group gatherings, all in a warm, open atmosphere.  

Serving on last years Garden of Arts committee, I understand the hard work & creativity that goes into this beautiful luncheon benefiting the Seattle Art Museum. A feast for the lunch hour as well as the eye, this annual gathering never disappoints; check out this ceative way to serve tea! 

Heather Baker gives back to community serving as art docent for a local elementary school. The all school art fair proved to be a safe, fun way to express creativeness through art.
